London is known for many things

Scarlett Green

Paladar
Google says: "Classy, art-decorated restaurant offering Latin American share plates, cocktails & sidewalk tables." There is a great variety of different options on the menu. For the meat lovers, we'd go for the crispy pork belly, We have yet to try the vegan and veggie options but we've heard good things.

Chamisse
Google says: "Simple modern restaurant serving traditional Lebanese mezes, salads and meat dishes, plus takeaway."
One reviewer added: "Will be a regular as I work nearby and it's perfect for lunch or dinner."
Richard Cheung is a big fan of the place. He said: "Hands down the best Lebanese food I've had. Thought I had tasted the beat before coming here but I was proven wrong. The mixed grill was amazing. The grilled meat was very juicy and fresh. The presentation of the baklava was very modern and tasted even better. You can tell it is fresh when the pastry is crispy and the nuts are, well, nutty! I would recommend it to anyone searching for good food in London, and I will return when I'm back in town."
Kennington Lane Cafe
Google says: "Low-key venue for British classics including fish and chips and roasts, global dishes and breakfast."
There are some great reviews online. This reviewer said: "The right kind of place for a good English breakfast. Fantastic service, filling breakfasts (especially good sausages). Wonderfully cooked eggs. Super friendly staff which makes the experience particularly pleasant. Despite being busy, there hasn’t been much trouble finding a table."
Another added: "This place excels in the two of the most important things: service and food. The menu itself has loads of options but what’s spectacular is that everything tastes better than home cooking (if you can believe that). You can customize your breakfast plate, try some fresh cooked kebab chicken, or enjoy an incredibly made comfort food."
Hakkasan Hanway Place
You will find Dim Dum, modern Cantonese delicacies and signature cocktails served in artfully lit designer surroundings.
One recent visitor told us: "This is definitely one of the best restaurants in London and a fantastic place to take someone on a date! The food is well presented and there are good portions to share. The cocktails were also very nice."
